A good large & heavy Victorian Oak Stationery Cabinet with multiple inset brass bands in each corner, and a fitted writing slope below with an inset brass handle, which springs out when the button between the hinges is pressed. The fully fitted interior comprises a divided stationery rack, the original pair of ink bottles with their brass crown screw tops, a white slate, pen compartment with an ebonised tilt lid, removable calendar compartment and original cards. Large books can be stored beneath the calendar compartment, and easily retrieved by means of a frame with handles.
