The walnut interior with four engraved recessed ivory labels indicating compartments for RECEIPTS, ACCOUNTS, ANSWERED & UNANSWERED, is fitted with a pair of solid brass screw-top ink bottles, glass writing slate, calendar assembly and a silver lever watch in good working order.
The Bramah lock works with a later key.
