A good Mahogany Chess & Backgammon Board box inlaid with birch, rosewood & ebony. The Staunton chess men are well made of boxwood, the kings measuring 3" in height. The boxwood & ebony backgammon pieces are well turned, measuring 1.5" in diameter, and the shaker is of boxwood.
The playing pieces in their containers fit comfortably inside the board box when closed.
